The Aircraft Intermediate Maintenance Department (AIMD) was created around 1967 and was responsible for technical intermediate maintenance of jets. From 1970 to 1973, AIMD was led by Lt. Cdr. T.A. Crombie. Some records in this series originated with AIMD division IM-3.
